In winter the river and groomed trails provide great access to hundreds of miles of snowmobile trails in the area. Bring your snow shoes as our 30 acres allow plenty of space to explore while the kids enjoy good old fashioned sledding on our hills.
Perhaps the local culture and history interest you? Check out the Charles City Arts Center, Mooney Art Collection, Charles Theatre, or Floyd County Historical Museum, the birthplace of the tractor. A short day trip in the country will lead you on a discovery of Floyd County’s Historic Barn Quilts, Fossil & Prairie Park or Little Brown Church in the Vale.
